This Battalion is having deployment in three Union territory namely Lakshadweep, Daman & Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli with 2 coys in each UT. The administrative head quarter is at Kavaratti where commandant office is located and the troops deployed at Daman & Diu and Dadra Nagar Haveli is under rear head commander which manned by an officer of deputy commandant where overall operation control is vest in IGP or DIGP of Daman & Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
